Salient Features of Charis High Academy Curriculum

The Curriculum prescribed by CBSE strives to: 

1. provide ample scope for physical, intellectual and social development of students;

Curriculum Partners

1. NCERT 

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is an autonomous organisation set up in 1961 by the Government of India to assist and advise the Central and State Governments on policies and programmes for qualitative improvement in school education. The major objectives of NCERT and its constituent units are to: undertake, promote and coordinate research in areas related to school education; prepare and publish model textbooks, supplementary material, newsletters, journals and develops educational kits, multimedia digital materials, etc.

2. ASSET

Assessment of Scholastic Skills through Educational Testing (ASSET) is diagnostic test that helps to find out the strengths and weaknesses of the students. The test is conducted once a year during the month of August for classes 6 to 10. Students scoring 85% and above in assessment test are invited to write the ASSET Talent Search- a two-level higher exam designed to identify academically gifted students and provide them with access to advanced learning programmes in India and abroad.

3. MY PEDIA

Pearson MyPedia is a Whole-School academic partnership programme that improves students’ Cognitive Skills by continuously partnering with everyone involved in the learning process: teachers, school leaders, parents and most importantly-students.
