Charis High Academy is an unaided Christian school. The school is managed by the Charis Educational Society, a non-Profit organization. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
Administrator's Note
We have all heard the term “fire in the belly”. It means to be fired up with a powerful sense of ambition or determination. This is our school’s attitude as we go forward into the new academic session. We are excited to be a part of the educational system that seeks to motivate, train up and facilitate the uniqueness of each of our students. After all, the future lies in the hands of people like our children.
We are now into the sixth year of the Special Educational Needs’ (SEN) section which caters to students who require special one-on-one intervention. Every child is teachable and if someone cannot learn in the way we teach them, then we need to teach them in the way they can learn. It requires determination, expertise and empathy to intervene with children having special learning disabilities and we are committed to providing for such children within an integrated inclusive environment in CHA.

Curriculum Overview
The Charis High Academy aims at offering all our students a broad and balanced curriculum that provides rewarding and stimulating activities to prepare them for the best social and cultural life.
Cultural Day'2024
Charis High Academy held its annual Cultural Day on the 29th of June, 2024. True to the sense of diversity, the event saw active participation and vibrant display of cultural attires and customs from students, teachers as well as parents and guardians. Inter House competitions like Folktale, Traditional Attire, Rice Husking and Winnowing marked the day. The best traditional attires from pre-primary and open category (Classes 1-10) were also awarded, after which Parent-Teacher Meeting followed for PT-1.
World Environment Day' 2024
In an effort to raise collaborative awareness and address climate change, Charis High Academy held its 4th World Environment Day Symposium, 2024 on the 5th of June. The event was marked with various Inter- School competitions with 9 schools participating in Painting, Waste-Makeover and Debate. Coinciding with this year's theme: Land Restoration, Desertification and Drought Resilience, the event was organized in collaboration with ICAR-National Research Centre on Mithun along with GSports, UCO Bank and Bright Printers as sponsers.
Science Exhibition day'2024
"Empowered by Science, Enlightened by Reason" Charis High Academy organised its annual Science Exhibition (2024) with the final year M.Sc. students and one of the faculty members from Patkai Christian College as special guests and judges on 31st August, 2024. The exhibition witnessed exciting innovations of students, who presented their projects in different categories (Sub-Junior, Junior & Senior).
Teacher's Day 2024
On 5th September (2024), Charis High Academy joined the rest of the world in celebrating Teachers’ Day on the theme "Bollywood”. The occasion was enlightened by lively performances by students from various classes, who expressed their love and appreciation for their teachers in one way or the other.
The 34th Nagaland State Taekwondo Championship 2024
Our student Nuka has secured Bronze Medal in U.59 kg Jr.Boys category during the 34th Nagaland Taekwondo Championship 2024 organised by Nagaland Taekwondo Association in collaboration with Department of Youth Resources & sports.
Inter-School Essay Writing Competition
Our student Liniu Achumi of class 8 had secured 1st Prize in Inter School Essay Writing competition which was conducted as part of Awareness Campaign on National Clean Air Programme organized by District Administration,Dimapur in collaboration with Livingstone Foundation Society & Breeze Women Welfare Association at Livingstone Foundation International, Dimapur on the 7th & 9 th of September 2024 under the theme 'Celebrating International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies'.
