Charis High Academy celebrated its 5th Heritage Day on the 19th of June, 2025. Organised to recognize and appreciate the diverse cultural heritage of our nation, the event commenced with a welcome note from Petekhrielie Rio of Grade 3, which was followed by a range of activities, including:
Cultural Dress Parade by Pre-primary, including Grade 1 And 2 students. The Principal also addressed the gathering, while the event featured various competitions such as Folk Song (Open category), War Cry, and Folklore Drama enactment from the four houses – Dzükou, Saramati, Shirui and Japfü.
Each team creatively portrayed the rich culture and traditional heritage through the various competitions.
Moreover, the students also presented traditional dances, song and poetry from various cultural community.
The event culminated on a positive note with Anishka Tandon of Grade 7 delivering the Vote of Thanks.
