Teachers’ Day 2025 was joyfully celebrated at Charis High Academy on 5th September, with heartfelt appreciation for the invaluable contributions of our educators. The event was hosted by Novizo Tetso of Class 8, who led the programme with confidence and charm.
The programme commenced with an invocation by Zubeni Fatima of Class 10, invoking blessings for the day and for all teachers. This was followed by a warm and cheerful welcome speech by Moatula Longkumer of Class 4, who set the tone for the celebration.
A delightful Sino K-Wave dance performed by the pre-primary students brought smiles and laughter from the audience. The Principal then delivered an inspiring speech, acknowledging the dedication of the teachers and encouraging students to value their mentors.
A melodious duet on musical instruments was performed by Rolio Phimu and Lireni Odyuo of Class 10, followed by a touching message dedicated to all teachers by Liniu Achumi of Class 9. The spirit of gratitude continued with a sweet rendition of the “Thank You Teachers” song by little Sedekhrieno from SKG.
The Administrator also shared her thoughts and presented tokens of appreciation to the teaching staff. This was followed by an instrumental performance by Petekhrielie Rio of Class 3, showcasing young talent and adding a musical touch to the day.
Adding to the entertainment, students enacted a humorous and creative “Miss Universe” act that brought lots of laughter and excitement. The Dance Club then performed an energetic stepping and shuffling dance, lighting up the stage with vibrant moves.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Martina T Ezung of Class 8, expressing sincere gratitude to everyone involved in making the event a memorable one.
After the formal celebration, the fun continued as students organized a lively game of musical chairs exclusively for the teachers, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
The day was a perfect blend of respect, fun, and celebration, leaving both teachers and students with joyful memories.
