The school celebrated Labour Day Cum Heritage Day with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and teachers. The programme aimed to honour the dignity of labour while promoting and preserving indigenous culture and traditions.
The programme was hosted by Liniu Achumi of Class 10, who conducted the event confidently and smoothly.
The celebration began with an invocation prayer by Merenchetla of Class 10, seeking God’s blessings for the successful conduct of the programme.
This was followed by a meaningful Labour Day speech delivered by Thanglam of Class 10, highlighting the importance of hard work, dedication, and respect for all forms of labour.
The Principal then addressed the gathering, encouraging students to value labour, discipline, and cultural heritage. The address inspired students to remain proud of their traditions and identity while contributing positively to society.

To workers in honour of Labour Day as a token of appreciation for their hard work, dedication, and valuable service to the school. The gesture reflected gratitude and respect towards all workers for their continuous contribution and commitment.

Students from different houses participated enthusiastically and showcased their talents, creativity, teamwork, and cultural spirit.
The audience was entertained with a beautiful solo performance by Liniu Yeptho, followed by an energetic and colourful performance by the Dance Club.
One of the major highlights of the event was the traditional fire-making demonstration by Sir Hushito and Sir Inoto. The demonstration gave students an opportunity to learn about indigenous survival skills and traditional practices followed by ancestors.
The celebration further continued with exciting Indigenous Games, where students actively participated with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship.

These activities helped students reconnect with traditional games and appreciate the value of indigenous sports.
After the competitions and games, Miss Ruth declared the results of the various events and congratulated all the winners and participants for their efforts and performances.
